I've been a fan of Georges Rouault for some time. Georges Rouault was a French artist whose work melded Fauvism and Expressionism with its jewel-like tones and bold graphic lines. During Covid, whiling away the time, I watched reruns of old 1960s sitcoms and westerns. Of course, one of those shows was That Girl, starring Marlo Thomas with her huge eyes and vintage 60s hair flip. So here is my Rouault-inspired That Girl/Marlo Thomas. 20 x 16, acrylic, gel, pumice.
